A Word from the Dean
 After nine years, it is time to say goodbye.
On Aug. 1, I will turn over the leadership of the School of Dentistry to Dr. Tim DeRouen as I prepare to assume my new post as director of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research later that month. Dr. DeRouen will serve as Interim Dean as the University of Washington conducts a search for my permanent successor. Read more
